September 25, 2009: Before heading to this week's G20 Summit, held in Pittsburgh, PA, USA, Russian President Dimitry Medvedev asked the G20 to come "more quickly" to an agreement on the reform of the global financial system.The global economy was slowly emerging from the crisis, but "future difficulties may lie ahead," Medvedev warned last week during his visit to Europe.
He will revisit European issues in bilateral talks on Friday with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
